about

On April 8 2017, Moxa made its live-debut in front of a small audience with cosy atmosphere in Leipzig. This concert was recorded and we are very proud with the outcome that we decided to share them with you. At this evening, we played eight of our songs but due to technical issues, we could only use five of them for this release. Among them, you find a new version of Caravan, two previously unreleased songs named “Ascension” and “Mooncalf”, and a spontaneous untitled live-jam. We hope you have fun while listening and do not hesitate to share. We like to thank Michael Plewinski for his work as sound-engineer and for providing his recording equipment. Without him this recordings would not exist. Further, we would like to thank Tobias Grießbach for his great guest-performance on his Oud on the song Caravan. Finally, we would like to thank the many people who attended this gig and emptied our bar two times. Unfortunately, our bass player Franziska will leave Moxa due to job-related reasons. However, in the last two years she shared with us her creativity, her huge patience and ever-pumping low frequencies. We wish you all the best for your future.

The body is like a bamboo basket full of natural energy passages or connections between the external body and the internal organs. The energy passages are connected to the life force of the organs and their vital functions. ... more
